Melinda Propps

Melinda was born and raised in southern Illinois but has called Northwest Arkansas home for over 20 years. As CFO of Oliver Law Firm, she brings a career-long focus on business, organization, and precision. Her education includes specialized training in medical terminology, complementing her diverse professional background. She has worked with the Illinois State Police, managed a medical office, served in county government as Deputy Recorder of Deeds, supported law school professors at the University of Arkansas, managed operations and finances for private law firms, and spent more than a decade in corporate real estate with J.B. Hunt Transport – working closely with attorneys and business leaders nationwide.

Melinda thrives in roles that demand structure, accuracy, and clear processes—qualities that have guided her work with legal contracts and in multiple areas of law. Since joining Oliver Law Firm in 2019, she’s drawn on the skills she’s gained, her ability to build strong business relationships, a leadership style rooted in leading by example, and a servant’s heart to strengthen the Oliver Law Firm team and serve our clients.

Outside the office, Melinda enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and two sons.
